Harbour View Suffolk, VA Tour

Hey, guys. Rachel Beasley here with That Fit Team, I am in the Harborview area of Suffolk, Virginia, 23435. So Jonathan, I used to live here, so we actually know this area really well. There’s so much to do here. I just want to tell you a little bit about this spot, just in case you’re thinking about moving to Suffolk and were trying to find the right spot to live by. So the Harborview area really consists of like the college drive area all the way to the Harborview Parkway area.

So there’s everything from hospitals to golf courses to like Walmart and shopping and T.J. Max. Hello, ladies. Anyway, there’s Starbucks. There’s so many restaurants here. Like anything you could think of seafood, Mexican cuisine, Italian American burgers. We’re, we’re actually sitting in a tap house, which is like one of my favorite places to go with Jonathan and friends.

It’s called Decent People. They actually do trivia nights on Thursday. So like, you should totally come and check that out and their food is amazing. But some of our favorite spots here are going to be Guad’s. Of course, I think we say that in like every third video. Yay Guad’s! also there’s Gianna’s really good food. First Watch is one of my favorite breakfast places. If you go over to the like college drive area, there’s Panera, there’s Kroger shopping, there’s PetSmart, Michaels Crafts and arts, and there’s a new restaurant opening up on College Drive, which is going to be like a sports restaurant, but also have like some fun games to play while you’re there hanging out with friends and family. So that’s kind of cool. So this place is growing like ten years ago, there were like very like a handful of restaurants here, and believe it or not, that handful of restaurants, they are still around, but it is grown so much and it’s still expanding.

So you’ve got to check out the Harborview area now, the proximity here, like you’ve got the monitor Merrimack like literally one exit away. The Chesapeake Square Western branch area is like maybe three exits down 664, Portsmouth or downtown. Portsmouth is about 15 minute drive from here. And then, of course, you’re really close to Bridge Road, which takes you all the way up through like Suffolk to Carrollton to the James River Bridge. This place is really awesome. There’s a lot of neighborhoods around here to name a few of them. You’ve got Burbage Grant, Hampton Roads Crossing Riverfront Area. There’s a lot of housing around here. Pretty much in pricing anywhere from like 280-250, maybe all the way up to that million dollar range. So there’s something here for everyone, and it’s a great spot. You can drive here and you can spend a whole day here shopping and having a good time and eatin good food. So please check it out. Harborview Area Northeast Suffolk Area of Virginia Hampton Roads.

So I’ll tell you a story actually helped a couple purchase a home here in the Harborview area, and the one reason why they wanted to live here is because it was in walking distance or like golf cart ride distance to restaurants. So it’s actually really true because Jonathan and I lived here in the area for a couple of years, and that’s one of the things we loved about it. The kids could walk down the street to Starbucks, or we would very, very frequently visit the restaurants here and have an awesome time. The golf course is amazing. It’s absolutely stunning views. Everywhere you look, it’s absolutely beautiful and it’s actually a pretty tough course and it’s a lot of fun to play. So we had a blast actually springtime COVID. I think we played golf like every weekend so we can have something to do and not be stuck in the house.
